Last Saturday, I was invited to read at the literary salon, organised by the British poet M. E. Grey. The event took place in house in which literary salons were hosted at the beginning of the XXth century. First, Martin Westlake, author and academic, (UK) read his poems, followed by me. After the break, we listened to the beginning of the new novel by Andrea Rees (UK). The programme ended with an evocative presentation by Martin and the film composer and musician Nigel Clarke (UK) about their creative collaboration. I read an extract from The Grand Sablon, a chapter of my latest manuscript Brussels Naked. It was a delightful and thought-provoking gathering which I tremendously enjoyed.
