September 19, 2021 – Irina Papancheva received the big award of the informal literary league Stop during their annual gathering on 18 September in the garden, the so-called literary vineyard in Dabrava, of the literary critic Georgi Yanev. 
The award is a spoon cut in the middle and resembling a writing feather.
“Each and single one of you should read Irina Papancheva’s novel ‘She, the island’”, Georgi Yanev said before handing her the prize.
“This comes as a surprise and I am very touched”, Papancheva said. “This will remain my most precious award.”
Every September writers, poets and literary critics gather in Dabrava to talk about literature and share their latest works. “For me it is a privilege to have become part of this group of very talented and authentic creators,”, Papancheva said.
