August 14, 2022 – Irina Papancheva and Khairi Hamdan presented their new books “Brussels Naked” and “Sand Winds” at the festival “With a book on the beach” in Burgas in the evening of August 13.
Their publisher Rumyana Emanuilidu, publishing house “Znatsi”, introduced the two authors in the beginning of the meeting titled “Brussels meets Petra” and let them talk about their books.
The conversation focused on topics such as love, emigration, diversity and approaching the Other.
“In essence, we are all connected by a common humanity, and if we look through the differences that immerse on the surface, we will find a human being with experiences similar to ours,” said Irina Papancheva and invited Khairi Hamdan to read his poem “My Neighbor”.
